Damascus Steel

1. Keep It Dry

  • Damascus steel can rust if exposed to moisture for extended periods.
  • Avoid wearing your jewelry while swimming, bathing, or doing activities where it may get wet.
  • If it does get wet, dry it immediately with a soft cloth.

2. Avoid Harsh Chemicals

  • Keep your jewelry away from household cleaners, chlorine, and other harsh chemicals.
  • Remove it before applying lotions, perfumes, or other cosmetic products

3. Regular Cleaning

  • Use a soft cloth or microfiber cloth to wipe off fingerprints and dirt.
  • For deeper cleaning, mix mild soap with warm water, gently scrub with a soft brush, then rinse and dry completely.
  • Apply a small amount of mineral oil or gun oil occasionally to maintain its finish.

4. Store Properly

  • Store in a dry, cool place.
  • Use silica gel packets in the storage box to absorb any moisture.

6. Prevent Scratches

Damascus steel is durable but not scratch-proof, so avoid rough handling or contact with hard surfaces.
